Ms.Jordan is a Texas educator. Spending her youth in Hutto, Texas before moving to Houston where she’s made home for the past five years. Ms. Jordan originally moved for her education as she is a big teaching nerd, receiving a BFA in Dance and BS in Psychology, with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis, from Sam Houston State University.

During her time in Houston, Ms.Jordan has had the pleasure of continuing her own dance education as a student training through her teachers at Sam Houston from 2021-2025. More recently, Ms.Jordan also began her journey as a Company Artist for Social Movement Contemporary Dance Theater June 2025-present. A major piece of her teaching philosophy is to never stop learning, and these outlets have allowed her to continue bringing back more knowledge each week to her students so they can all grow together.

Outside of dance, Ms. Jordan also works as a Registered Behavioral Technician using play based therapy for children with Autism. Having been fully licensed since August of 2025,
Ms. Jordan has learned the art of patience, being silly, and keeping track of students’ progress in physical ways to help them see their growth. It can be so easy to lose sight of all the hard work being put in, so she likes to ensure her students have tools to rely on to see their own hard work
pay off.

While many of these experiences are recent, Ms.Jordan began her teaching journey 10 years ago as a student assistant back in Hutto, Texas. She began teaching with ages 2-8 where she has remained excited to continue to teach these age groups at ADA. She loves getting to work
on dance foundations and helping students navigate the early years. Above all else, she hopes to remind her students that we are humans first to instill proper safety guards for physical and mental health, while accepting the pleasure of getting to choose to be dancers.

Today we’re saying a very bittersweet goodbye to Mrs. Leslie after 8 incredible years at the front desk of Atascocita Dance Academy. 💚

From greeting families with a smile to keeping our studio running smoothly, she has been such a special part of ADA and will be missed more than words can say. Her kindness, patience, and caring heart have made a lasting impact on so many of our dancers and families.

Mrs. Leslie, thank you for everything you've done over the past eight years. We hope this next chapter is filled with all of your favorite things - great books, lots of coffee, and time to relax. ☕📚

You'll always be part of the ADA family, and we know our dancers and parents will miss seeing your smiling face every day. We love you and wish you nothing but the very best! 💚
