As our 8U team wraps up its season here in September this weekend, we’re reminded of what LD TABA is all about.

The boys split their first two pool play games, going 1-1 on the day. While a 12-0 win over Complete Game Academy was exciting, some of the greatest learning and development happens in close, competitive games. That was certainly the case in a hard-fought, back and forth 9-7 loss to Warpath.

Wins are great, but growth comes through competition, adversity, and teamwork. Most importantly, these players are building friendships and relationships within the Lower Dauphin community that will last far beyond the baseball field.

Bracket play starts tomorrow. Good luck, boys! We’re proud of you! ⚾️❤️

🏆 Season Wrap-Up – LD TABA 9U ⚾

The LD TABA 9U team wrapped up its tournament season last weekend at the Beast of the East Tournament. While the season may have come to an end, the growth of this team was on full display all summer long.

Baseball is about more than wins and losses. It’s about development, learning, competing, and becoming better teammates and players. This group embraced the process, battled hard, and showed tremendous improvement from the first game to the last.

We’re proud to provide a community-based program that helps Lower Dauphin players grow both on and off the field. Great job to the players, coaches, and families on a fantastic season!

The LD TABA 8U team wrapped up their run in the Summer Sizzler Tournament in Newville this weekend.

Playing up in the 9U division provided our players with new challenges, tougher competition, and valuable game experience. This group embraced the opportunity and showed they can compete with the “big boys,” battling hard every time they took the field.

While the tournament ended sooner than the team had hoped, the lessons learned and experience gained will help this group continue to grow and improve. We are proud of their effort, resilience, and determination throughout the weekend. The future is bright for this team, and this experience will only make them stronger moving forward!

⚾️ Tournament Run Comes to an End for Our 9U & 10U Teams ⚾️

Both of our LD TABA teams battled hard in bracket play today, coming up just a bit short. Our 9U squad fought until the final out in an 8-5 loss, while our 10U team came up just short in a back-and-forth battle, falling 14-11.

While everyone loves to win, TABA has never measured success by trophies alone. We do this for the Lower Dauphin community—to provide local players the opportunity to compete, grow, build friendships, and represent the place they call home. The scoreboard matters for a day; the lessons, memories, and relationships last much longer.

Baseball is a game of failure that teaches resilience, perseverance, accountability, and how to respond when things don’t go your way. Those are the life lessons we strive to instill in every player who wears a TABA jersey.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, growth, and character displayed by these teams throughout the weekend and all season long. Thank you to our coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters who continue to invest in the young athletes of our community.

The future is bright for LD baseball. Keep grinding, keep learning, and keep representing Lower Dauphin with pride. 💙⚾️

⚾️ 10U TOURNAMENT UPDATE ⚾️

What a game.

In a true rollercoaster battle that had a little bit of everything—including plenty of rain—our 10U team battled until the very last pitch, walking it off in the bottom of the 6th inning for a thrilling 14-13 victory over the NY Hammers!

The game swung back and forth all morning, with both teams refusing to back down. When the dust settled, our boys found a way to come through in the clutch and celebrate an unforgettable walk-off win.

These are the kinds of games that players, coaches, and families will remember for a long time—a testament to the heart, resilience, and determination of this group.

⚾️ Tournament Weekend Update! ⚾️

We have two LD TABA teams in tournament action this weekend — 9U and 10U!

Our 9U squad dodged the rain this morning and battled hard at the Cougar Classic, but came up just short against Linglestown, falling 12-9. While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, there were plenty of positives to build on, and this group continues to compete and improve every time they take the field.

We’ll keep getting after it this weekend (weather permitting!) and look forward to seeing both teams back in action.
