TUESDAY TESTIMONY

Junior Rhett Decker bringing the Word today as he spoke from Psalm 139:13-14 which says,

"For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my souls knows it very well."

Rhett spoke of comparison being the 'thief of joy' and stressed the God has a wonderful plan for each of us. Our timing may not be His timing but His timing is always perfect. Proud of Rhett and the way he leads our team with his actions on and off the field! Chase the Lion!🦁

TUESDAY TESTIMONY

Coach Connally bringing the Word to the team. Speaking from 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27 as Paul says:

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable."

Coach Connally stressed that while we are, in fact, chasing the football lion everyday, that's not what defines us. His message of faith and family was a great one for our young men to hear. Thankful for Coach and the relationships that he fosters with our guys daily!

TUESDAY TESTIMONY!

Junior Dvir Dangerfield bringing the Word to his teammates. Dvir spoke from Proverbs 12:18 which says:

"The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

When things get intense and adversity hits, are we going to 'build up' or 'tear down'? The tongue is powerful and choosing to be a positive influence is so important in a team environment. Our guys do a great job of loving each other and supporting the team, but we all need to be reminded from time to time on the importance of positive words. Chase the Lion!🦁
