It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that on the evening of Friday, October 2nd, the Strikers family lost one of our own in a tragic traffic accident.
Coach Curtis Warren was a member of our soccer community, having played for Strikers since his youth. Beyond his history as a player, he worked in our office and served as a dedicated coach in our CSA Huntersville program for the past five years. More importantly, he was a dear personal friend to many of us.
Coach Curt was only 25 years old, and our entire soccer family’s hearts go out to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
In his honor, and with the support of the Charlotte Soccer Academy, we have established a scholarship fund to help local children participate in the sport he loved. If you would like to contribute, please visit: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/6V6EYGNL3JGZQ
Rest in peace, Coach Curt.
With deepest sympathy,
The Strikers Family
