Movement Snack Monday!
We felt like this was a good week to bring out the happy baby pose.
This one is great for hip and hamstring mobility while also working that core and hip flexor control.
Not to mention it makes you feel like a baby…that’s happy.

—HAPPY BABY LEG LOWERING—
✅lying on your back, grab your feet with your knees on the outside of your arms
✅straighten your legs as much as you can with the hands holding the feet
✅let one leg loose and straighten it while lowering to the floor, being sure to keep the other leg as straight as you can
✅return to the staring position and repeat

Snack on a few rounds of 5-10 reps this week!

Happy Birthday to Dr Gilbert and happy soon to be birthday for Dr Suttons little girl!

We are so excited for Dr Sutton and her family as they are expecting their baby girl this weekend. Sending lots of prayers their way!

We will miss Dr Sutton over the next several weeks but excited to have Dr Theresa Tretter back in the office a few days a week to help!

Movement Snack Monday!

Grab a partner and challenge your single leg balance by tossing a ball or any random object at work (maybe not something valuable or sharp, but to each their own, we won’t judge). Have fun but stay safe!

Add a challenge like Dr Gilbert and Oakley who are balancing their 4th of July hats on their heads while tossing the ball.

Balance or proprioception is critical for normal daily tasks and walking but also extremely important for power with sports. You can’t fire a cannon from a canoe; nor can you leap without stable feet!
