This event will consist of two Ace Race rounds at the Seven Points Pine 9 Course. It will be a modified version of the course (18 unique holes) to fit the Ace Race format with holes 3 (normal Pine 9, hole 2) and 17 (modified Pine 9, hole 9) being ace pot holes.
Take the combined score of both throws (Each player gets to throw 2 discs per hole. Player adds scores according to the points description below)
ACE = 5 points
Chains = 3 points
Metal hit = 1 point
MOST POINTS WIN
NEW THIS YEAR: Play your space race rounds as a Doubles event! Sign up with general admission, and be sure to tell us BOTH players' names. Each partner will then get to use one disc of the player pack. (Instead of 2 throws per hole, each person on the doubles team will throw once per hole).
ADDITIONAL PLAYER PACK: Add an additional player pack option to your registration and get a 2nd player pack for $30 instead of the $35 registration fee.
The Lighthouse Concessionaire will be offering a dinner option during the event. Bagged dinners will be $12 each, and you will receive a sandwich, chips, dessert, and a drink (Choose this option when you register).
Placement prizes will be given to top finishers and will be chosen out of 12 Lab 2nd discs.
There is an ace pot option. The ace pot holes will be on holes 2 and 9 of the normal Pine 9 course (holes 3 and 17 of the Space Race 18-hole layout). Throughout the two rounds, players will have 16 total throws at these holes that will be eligible to win the ace pot. Multiple aces will split the pot evenly. If no ace is hit, these funds will go directly toward improving our courses.
For additional prizes, we will be doing a Ring of Fire and a CTP.
Hosted by Raystown Area Discgolf and Friends of Raystown Lake.
Be a hole sponsor on one or more of the 18 modified holes on the space race course. Past sponsorship has allowed the club to install permanent tee signage, build benches, install hole 18's island, install solar basket lights, and more.
