Late report: we got out on Monday to check out the local hard bottom spots. Stoked to find the bite to be stable. Found a few good ones mixed in with acres and acres of bait out there with tons of birds on them. It’s shaping up to be a great Spring!

It had been a long minute since Team Anchored was on the water together. Between the selling of Quimby’s old Wellcraft center console, dialing in the Parker pilot house family obligations, work responsibilities, vacations, etc. too much time past. We rectified that with a leisurely local spot check of some stones, reefs and pipes. We were met with an afternoon wind that made for quick drifts. We soon found spots that but very well for 57 degree water temp. Sandbass, Calico bass and even a cool juvenile black seabass made for a fun half day. Looking forward to a variety of fishing adventures to come in 2023!

Tiz what we do, resistance is futile. Posted • Staying at Campland by the Bay for a couple days and of course had to get a quick little shore pound in. Not bad for an hour of work. Chopped the dark sleeper.
