🌊 The 4th Annual A Great Day in the Stoke brought together surfers and community from across the globe for a weekend full of waves, connection, and culture. These are just the first glimpses into our weekend!

From surf competitions, to kids zone. From live performances, to the beer garden… there is something for everyone at A Great Day in the Stoke 🏄🏿‍♂️

Join us for the Premier Black Surfing Event of the Year, this Saturday, September 27th at Huntington Beach Pier! 🌊

7:00 am - 3:15 pm: Surf Competition
7:00 am start: 5K Unity Run/Walk Powered by Lululemon
9:00am – 11:00am & 12:00pm – 2:00pm: Free Surf Lessons with Rocky McKinnon (check-in 30 min before each session)
From 9:00 am, all day: Nickelodeon Kids Zone
10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Yoga powered by Lululemon (3x 30 min sessions)
11:00 am - 6:00 pm: A Great Day Beer Garden (21+ ID required to purchase alcoholic beverages)
11:30am – 12:00pm (12 and under), 12:30pm – 1:00pm (13+), 1:00pm – 2:00pm (open competition): Double Dutch with Melanated Jump Squad
3:15 pm: Awards Ceremony and Live Performance by We The Commas

Meet Devon James – shortboard specialist, storyteller, and Gold Medal Ambassador. 🏄🏽‍♂️ With 15 years of surfing under his belt and a creative eye behind the lens, Devon’s all about chasing waves and capturing moments.

From his home surf break in Huntington Beach to his favorite spot at Rocky Point in Haleiwa, Devon lives by the motto: “You never know until you go!” 🌴🔥
