Happy Friday. It’s been a while, and I just wanted to repost this short newsletter I created and posted a while ago, along with saying THANK YOU to my true followers and for your support. I should’ve posted this a while ago!!! I chose to stop making my YouTube videos and posting on social media with my fitness passion. Although that passion will never go away! I have had to put things on hold and focus on some other things for financial and personal reasons. I am very knowledgeable about fitness, especially the benefits of strength training for women. If you ever have questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I will be back making YouTube videos and posting short clips of those on social media with my “long”educational captions as soon as I can💯In the meantime, don’t ever stop “MOVING YOUR BODY!”💝💪🤸♂️

This B***Y BAND HOME WORKOUT is really all you need to truly tone and strengthen your glutes. This is the 1st in a series of my BEST EVER B***Y BAND WORKOUTS. Quick & Very Effective. Like with all of my workouts, you will be working multiple muscles, which will boost your cardio and burn more calories. The more muscles recruited in a workout, the better! When strengthening the glutes, there are other muscles that go hand-in-hand with the process. You will be working your legs, including hamstrings, lower back, abs, and of course, all of the muscles of your GLUTES. Your CORE muscles will all be engaged and working the entire workout.
We have got to keep our GLUTES strong PRIMARILY so our pelvis/hip joints stay protected, allowing for bone density to be maintained, so we can have mobility and independence as the years go by...

TONE and TRIM ARMS and SHOULDERS Dumbbell Workout/with LOWER BODY/18 Mins
This is another one of my QUICK & EFFECTIVE workouts for ALL fitness levels.
In this SCULPTED SHOULDERS and ARMS workout, you have the option to bring in the lower body movements to work more muscles, burn more calories and boost your metabolism, but either way, you are doing all of that, and that's great!
My workouts are focused on working multiple muscles of the UPPER and LOWER body with COMPOUND COMBINATION MOVEMENTS to boost your cardio, burn calories, and boost your metabolism. You can choose to do just the upper body or just the lower body movements. Very customizable! My workouts aren't about HEAVY WEIGHTS & building big muscles. They are about building and maintaining strong lean muscle for longevity & quality of life. Because of that, I figure if you're working your lower body, throw some upper body moves in also, or the other way around. Get the multiple muscles involved to get more cardio. You'll be burning more calories & boosting your metabolism even more.

Follow the link in my bio to my YouTube channel, and give this one a shot. My workouts are less than 20 minutes, but they do the job. You’re working multiple muscles with COMPOUND COMBINATION MOVEMENTS that are going to get your heart rate up at the same time because of the multi muscles working. That makes it cardio my friends!
Again, my workouts aren’t about heavy heavy weights, unless you want them to be. If you’re a BEGINNER, you start with SUPER light resistance until you learn the PROPER FORM (watch my video on PROPER FORM), and then you add in enough resistance to challenge your muscles. ONE STEP AT A TIME, otherwise there’s a high likelihood you won’t want to keep MOVING YOUR BODY with regular exercise. You definitely want to challenge your muscles enough to strengthen and tone the muscles. In turn, that increases and maintains BONE DENSITY and protects your joints primarily, and then secondarily, boosts your metabolism burning calories & fat!👍
This allows for mobility and independence giving you a better quality of life through the years. That is what it’s all about! 🏖

These workouts aren’t getting a lot of attention! These FLAT BANDS are being underrated, but don’t these thin pieces of rubber fool you. They pack a punch! They’re amazing. I’m in love with them!

These are perfect no matter where you are on your fitness journey. You can get such an effective quick workout with these, and you can go anywhere and workout with them.

I like the handled “tubing“ resistance bands, but they’re not near as portable because of the handles. You just roll these up and stick them in your pocket or bag. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend giving one of these workouts a try. They’re under 20 minutes. Get some of these awesome bands. I have a link down in the description of my workout video. It is not an affiliate link at this point. It’s just a link to the flat bands that I think are the best quality and the best price point. They’re only $19! Such a great option for somebody that doesn’t want to invest in free weights.

A workout doesn’t have to be crazy hard to keep your glutes strong. There are lots of different exercises you can do to keep your glutes strong. Different types of squats, lunges, floor exercises, and if you can throw some type of "B***Y BAND" even better. The part that many miss when performing these exercises is the "ACTIVATION" or contracting (squeezing) of the glute muscles.
It's so important to activate to get the full benefit out of the time you put into your workout
🌷Why do we need strong glutes?
Your glute muscles stabilize your pelvis during running and walking. Proper alignment of the pelvis, torso and legs depend on strong glutes. If your glutes are not strong, your entire lower body alignment may fall out of balance which can cause several problems.

When the glutes are not strong enough to do their job of extending the hip and pushing the body forward, other muscles not meant for the job, can take over. The hamstrings, low back, quadriceps and calves can become disproportionately strong, which can increase your risk of injury.

Strong glutes support your back. When your glutes aren’t activating as they should, your psoas muscle, a hip flexor that runs from the spine to the legs, takes over. An overstressed psoas can cause back pain and compression in the lower lumbar vertebrae of the spine. Not good.

Strong glutes also protect our hip bones and hip joints from becoming weak and atrophying. Weak hips can set you up for a fall especially as we get up there in the years. Fractured hips are very hard to recover from, especially for the elderly.
