It’s been about 3 years since we let our gym go due to the pandemic, causing our team to be displaced, but not lost. We accepted every and any condition to be able to train together and separately. We developed new training strategies that allowed us to adapt to our circumstances.

The dedication of our families, athletes and coaches to the kids training and programming led us to several banners and this NEW ROCK CITY TRAINING CENTER!

Now, we can expand the size of our team and execute our dream of being a beacon for Youth climbing and athletic development. We will welcome ALL coaches, teams, athletes and setters into our space to promote the opportunity for youth performance climbing. Any families interested in joining our Youth Performance program head to our website rockcityclimbing.com and fill out an interest form.

I’ll walk with you to the end of the EARTH but I won’t drag you there. This is a saying I use often with our team. I use this phrase or motto to illustrate the need for the kids to be motivated for their growth and the task at hand. Gigi has been the epitome of this! Driven even during the tough times, rough diagnosis, unfashionable cast, discomfort, change, sadness etc. She is ROCK CITY to her core. Welcome back Bruh. Let’s keep walking side by side!!!!

2023 Youth World Championships have come to a close. I’m incredibly proud of the US Team ATHLETES, PARENTS and COACHES.

I so excited for the future of our Rock City Athletes and families. We’ve worked hard through it all to be on the world stage. Back to work!

A Rock City Family member was recently involved in a climbing accident. The result of this accident has left him with significant injuries that will take an especially long time to recover from. During this time he will not be able to work and support his family. Jarod is one of the best humans this world has to offer. Please give what you can!!!

8 kids qualified for Boulder and Sport. Our small team battled so much adversity this year. Everything from broken toes and fingers to being asked to relocate and establish a new practice location all while winning Regional and Divisional Championships. I never doubted our kids would overcome all things. They did in a big way. 2 gets qualified for Worlds. qualified for both sport and Boulder and had two podium finishes. qualified for Boulder and brought home the National Championship! Can’t wait to get back to work!!!!

Life is a collection of experiences. I’m so excited to have experienced the ups and downs of this season with this collection of people. This group of people earned their way to a Divisional Team Championship. Hard work is at the center of what we do. Congrats to all that contributed to this team banner. .A.D

What a week end. Proud of our kids and families. They’ve prepared so well for this weekend. These kids deserve their Team Championship Banner! Hard work, commitment, and a desire to “Be Better” is what we’re about. 12 of our kids competed this weekend. All 12 made finals. 8/12 met their objective of moving on to Nationals. 2 Divisional Champions, 3 Seconds, a 5th and two 6th places. Congrats to those that competed. Excited to get back to work on Monday!!!! Sport and Speed is here!

What an incredible week coaching some of the best climbers in the country! The TC is incredible! The setting, coaching and climbing was top notch!!!

So proud of our team. I both ask and require a lot of our families. Together we work for a common goal of developing kids to be their best in this sport. I’m so psyched that each family in our program got a chance to feel a small pay off for all of the training, driving and effort they pour in. Thanks to all the families that contribute to this Championship!

Monday is about the GRIND. So the next 5 weeks I’ll highlight the silent GRINDERZ. The person working their tail off when nobodies watching. Not looking for praise just improvement and sweat. Ethan has been GRINDING!
