Since my Ex plant a year ago I haven’t done very many wide stance pushups. I started the pushup challenge a day late but Day 2 I did one push-up, day 3 I did 2 pushups. Day 4 I did 3!

I have been on this fitness journey for 36 years. Wow! I gained my college 15 and didn’t realize it until I saw a picture of myself. I set a goal, and starting running around my neighborhood. There was a hill to run up that was my target. I would run at dusk so I could see the sunset and not eat such a big dinner. I then started working out at a gym. I’ve trained through 3 pregnancies. My first pregnancy was the hardest to watch my body change. But I still showed up at the gym. I was a married mother of 3 children, 2 dogs and worked by helping my husband and still showed up to the gym. In 36 years there has been a lot of stress and things come up good and bad but I still put on my shoes and showed up. People would ask me my motivation and I would say… I just put on my shoes and show up. Whatever I felt like doing I would. Some days would be more. I had 3 children in different schools owned my own business and still put on my shoes and showed up.
Today I didn’t feel like working out. But I put on my shoes and showed up. Now treadmill sprints are my favorite realizing it’s not just about how I look it’s about how I feel. Put on your shoes and show up.
