🚨Coaching Announcement 🚨

🦍 ⚾️14U Black ⚾️ 🦍

Hello everyone, my name is Carl Chandler. I'm very pleased and grateful to accept the role as head coach for the upcoming River City Rampage 14U Black baseball team. The River City Rampage has been a top notch and respected organization in the area for several years now who truly care about the kids, families and communities that surround them.

The Rampage took us in, 12U at the time when our previous team decided to no longer play. We haven't looked back and the thought of leaving has never crossed our minds. With that said, the opportunity to coach the bevy of talent in the area was too hard to pass up.

A little about myself and goals moving forward. I have a beautiful and supportive girlfriend Katelyn. Our family consists of her two daughters, my son, 3 dogs and soon to be cat. I have a degree from Salem University and I currently work as an IT Program Specialist for the WV Department of Education.

Coaching experience includes Little League and Travel ball. I was the head coach of the 9U and 10U WV Wildcats based out of Nitro. I've also coached for a number of years with the Nitro Little League and All Star teams.

My goals for the River City Rampage 14U Black baseball team is to instill confidence and a winning mindset by developing their skills and putting them in positions to be successful. End goal above winning is to help them be better kids on and off the field. Again, very thankful for this opportunity and very much looking forward to building new relationships. Let's Go Rampage 💚 ⚾️ 🖤

🥎 14U Black Coaching Announcement 🥎

💥 Head Coach Joe Dorsey💥

My name is Joe Dorsey, and I'm from Wayne, West Virginia. Above everything else, my greatest passions are my faith, my family, and coaching.
For the past several years, I've had the privilege of coaching at Wayne Little League. During that time, I've served in several roles, including board member and coach. While each position has been rewarding, being a coach is by far my favorite.
To many people, softball is measured by wins and losses. While I take pride in the success we've had—including district championships and a Senior League State Runner-Up finish along with State Runner up finish in the 9-11 age group those accomplishments aren't what matter most to me.
The true reward of coaching is having the opportunity to be a small part of a young athlete's journey. Watching players grow in confidence, develop their skills, mature as individuals, and build lifelong friendships is far more meaningful than any trophy or championship banner. My goal has always been to teach more than just the game of softball. I want every player who comes through my program to leave with values such as hard work, accountability, respect, teamwork, and perseverance. If they become better people because of the time we've spent together, then I consider that my greatest victory. At the end of the day, championships fade, but the impact you have on a young person's life can last forever. That's why I'll always be grateful to be called "Coach."

🚨10U Baseball Coaching Announcement 🚨

💥Head Coach Corey Perry💥

First, I want to thank the Rampage organization for trusting me with the opportunity to coach and mentor this outstanding group of young athletes. It is an honor to be part of an organization that is committed to developing players not only on the baseball field but also as young men of character.

A little about me….I met my amazing wife in 2023, and together we are blessed with six wonderful children. I was born and raised in Wayne, West Virginia, and now call Milton, West Virginia home.

Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Room, Trauma, and Intensive Care Unit. While I love all sports, baseball has always been my greatest passion. I began playing at five years old and continued through high school, where I specialized as a pitcher. The lessons I learned through baseball hard work, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork have stayed with me throughout my life and career.

Our family has proudly been part of the Rampage family for the past two years, and last season I had the privilege of serving as the assistant coach for the 9U Rampage team. I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to step into the head coaching role. We have an incredible group of athletes, and I look forward to helping each player grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

As a coach, my goal is to create a positive environment where players compete hard, support one another, learn from mistakes, and have fun. I believe success is measured not only by wins and losses but by the character these young athletes develop along the way.

I’m excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes together.
