The Hawks Squirts closed out the season with our very own Hawks Olympics. Team Finland and Team Sweden battled it out in a series of on-ice competitions, with Team Finland taking home the gold! Both teams had so much fun. The perfect ending to a wonderful hockey season. 🧡🖤

From the Clark Gilles Rink! The rink, along with the Town of Huntington, is running a Toys For Tots drive. We will have a box in the main lobby, next to the office, until the morning of December 12. Please consider contributing to help me a child’s holiday a little bit brighter.

On Sunday, November 30th, the Hawks Squirts gathered for “The Harvest Classic,” a fun and friendly Parent/Coaches/Siblings vs. Players hockey game. We continued the celebration with a team dinner at Spuntinos to celebrate Thanksgiving and kick off the holiday season. It was a special afternoon filled with fun, laughs, camaraderie, and memories on and off the ice. A wonderful time was had by all!

On Sunday, October 26th, players, coaches and families from the Rebels, Hawks, and Team LI came together for a fun-filled Halloween Trunk or Treat event! The kids enjoyed trick-or-treating from car to car, playing street hockey, and spending time with friends from across the hockey community.
We even had a special visit from the Dix Hills Fire Department, where the kids got to explore the fire truck and learn important fire-safety tips.
It was a fantastic day with beautiful weather, incredible creativity from all the families, and an amazing turnout. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a memorable event for our players and families! 🎃🏒🧡🖤💙🤍👻

The Hawks Squirts officially kicked off the season with their first practice followed by a team-building dinner! Players, parents, siblings, and coaches all had the chance to connect, share a meal, and take part in a fun activity together. Off-ice bonding like this helps the kids feel comfortable, build trust, and strengthen relationships—which we know will translate into teamwork and results on the ice. The team is energized and ready for their first game on Saturday! 🧡🤍🖤🏒

Friday night was great night out for our some of our Rebels & Hawks families at the Long Island Ducks game for Hockey Night! 🏒⚾️ Players got to salute the flag, head down to the field for the National Anthem, and even meet some Ducks players. Amazing off-ice bonding for players and parent’s as we get ready for the season! 💙🖤🧡 Long Island Ducks
