Meet the people behind BDA! 🩵✨

Our Leadership Team works in and out of the studio to keep BDA moving forward from classes and our Performancr Company, to programs, events, branding, and everything in between! Each sharing a love for dance, creativity, education, community, and making sure every dancer feels at home at BDA. 🩵 You’ll see these women teaching, creating, coordinating, planning, and working behind the scenes to make the BDA experience.

And of course, this amazing team of women is backed by our incredible staff, instructors, and assistants who work alongside them every day. It truly takes a team! 🫶🏼

Get to know them at little better! 👇🏼

More than a team. 🩵

This week in technique class, Ms. Haven led our Company dancers through a special team-building activity. As the string traveled around the circle, each dancer shared something positive about what their teammates bring to the BDA Comapny, eventually creating a web of positivity connecting them all. 🕸️🫶🏼

A reminder that every dancer brings something unique to the BDA Co., and the energy, attitude, and encouragement we give each other matters. And without one string, our web wouldn’t be the same! 🩵🩵🩵

Our Company Dancers were busy this summer! 🤩 take a look at the exciting things they were up to while on break. ☀️

Starting with SAM ✨
featured in the “PHYSICAL” Music Video Experience with The Commercial Dance Experience 2026 at Seton Hill University! The Commercial Dance Experience SHU Dance Department

Sam learned choreography and blocking before filming an entire music video in just ONE day—an incredible opportunity to experience dance on film and the production process firsthand!

GRACI ✨
Graci took her training to Chicago this summer for Focus Dance Intensive!

After an exciting week of classes and growth, she was honored with the FOCUS Award for her age group! Way to represent BDA, Graci! 🩵

TYLAR ⭐️
What a week for Tylar at Starpower Nationals! She earned a 5 Star Elite adjudication and was selected to attend the invite-only Power Pak week-long intensive.

Tylar also performed in the Junior Opener for Starpower’s Battle of the Stars and earned a scholarship to The WILD Dance Intensive! So many exciting accomplishments in one week! 💜

AMARIS 🎭
Amaris spent July 19–25 in Orlando for the audition-only Destination Broadway program!

Throughout the week, she trained in singing, dancing, and acting with Broadway professionals, performed in multiple numbers, and even wrote and performed her own acting monologue. Such a special opportunity for our triple-threat performer! ✨

HANNAH 🩰
Hannah headed to Detroit for two weeks of training at NewDanceFest with Eisenhower Dance Detroit!

Acceptance into this intensive is by audition, and Hannah also received a partial scholarship from MADI to attend. We’re so proud to see her continue challenging herself and growing as an artist!

KEIRA ✨
Keira got a taste of collegiate dance this summer with TWO exciting training opportunities—attending a dance clinic at Ohio State University and the UK Summer Dance Intensive!

We love seeing Keira explore what dance can look like at the next level while continuing to grow and expand her training!

TARAN 💛💙
College dance is on the horizon for current BDA senior Taran! She attended the WVU Dance Team Intensive at West Virginia University, getting the opportunity to train in a colle
