The WV Dusters 16u-Morrison is looking to finish our roster with two high-level pitchers and two OF/MIF/UTL for the 2026-2027 season. We are looking for those who are willing to work hard and compete against top level competition. Non-parent head coach.

All positions will be considered, with an emphasis on pitching, catching and outfield.

We have closed pre-registration for tomorrow’s organization tryouts at Marshall. However, you can register at the tryout event tomorrow before your age groups scheduled tryout slots. It is supposed to be warm tomorrow, so please bring plenty of water. No Gatorade, gum or sunflower seeds are permitted on the field or dugouts. Also, no metal cleats are allowed, please wear molded cleats, turf shoes or tennis shoes.

We are a week away! You can pre-register by Thursday 8/6, but we will have registrations on Saturday. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled age groups start time to check-in/register and to warm up. The WV Dusters will begin our 31st season and host our organizational tryout for the 2026-2027 season on Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Dot Hicks Field on the campus of Marshall University.
This will be the only organization wide tryout, but each individual team may hold their own respective tryouts at other locations and times as needed as they complete their current summer seasons.

After five great years, this WV Dusters 18u page will transition back to the WV Dusters 16u-Morrison for the 2026-2027 season.

This will be a new regional showcase team, and we are looking for players with 9/1/2009 birthdates. We are looking for all positions.

The West Virginia Dusters will host a tryout for two 16u teams for the 2026-2027 season on Thursday July 23rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at AK Steel Sports Park located at 4535 Blackburn Avenue Ashland, KY 41101.

One team will be a first year 16U team coached by Addi Dillow, and the other will be a second year 16u coached by Josh Morrison. Both teams will have non-parent head coaches.

The first year 16u team will play a competitive regional schedule in the fall 2026 and summer 2027.

The second year 16u team will play a regional showcase schedule in the fall 2026 and summer 2027.

Due to work commitments, the WV Dusters 18+ is looking for a MIF and an OF for this weekend at Buckeye RecruitFest in Columbus, OH. We will be playing the in the 18+ division, with games at 8:30 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Sunday will be the final pool game at 8:00 a.m. followed by bracket play.
