Petting a puppy decreases the stress hormone while boosting oxytocin and dopamine. Helping lower your heart rate blood pressure and anxiety! The perfect cool down!
What does this do for the puppies?
This is also beneficial for them. You are giving these puppies a very important socialization experience where they learn to get used to touching, groups of people, and loud noises. This experience sets them up for success when moving on to their furrever homes!
