Huge congratulations to Brianna Stephens on an incredible performance at the Alabama State Outdoor Heptathlon at Hoover High School!

Brianna battled through 7 events and finished 4th in the entire state out of 44 athletes ! Proud is an understatement. Way to compete, represent, and leave it all on the track! 🏅

Congratulations to the athletes who wrapped up their season today, and to those advancing to state! We’re proud to have 6 athletes punch their ticket and can’t wait to see them shine in Gulf Shores.

Medalists:
Brianna Stephens dominated with 1st place finishes in long jump (17-7), high jump (5-6), and triple jump (37-7)! She also broke the school record in the triple jump and earned the 6A Girls MVP.

Vernell Devries took 1st in the 100m with a new PR of 10.96 and placed 2nd in the 200m (22.40).

Javen Thomas placed 3rd in discus with a huge new PR of 134-6.

Congratulations to Kaleb Earl on qualifying for the Men’s 110 Meter Hurdles at State!

He will compete on Friday, May 1st at 1:20PM in Gulf Shores.
