TIP TUESDAY: Play the smart target.

Not every flag is asking to be attacked.

When the pin is tucked near a bunker, water, or the edge of the green, aiming for the center can be the better play. Give yourself more room for error, take the big number out of play, and give yourself a chance to walk away with a solid score.

Sometimes good golf isn’t about hitting the most aggressive shot. It’s about knowing when not to.

Valley Hill golfers — are you attacking the flag or playing for the middle of the green?

A huge congratulations to Wyatt Suber on an incredible hole-in-one Sunday at Valley Hill Country Club.

Wyatt aced Valley #2 from 163 yards with a 7 iron — a shot he’ll never forget.
What a moment, and what an accomplishment. We’re proud to celebrate this special achievement and excited to recognize Wyatt for a round highlight every golfer dreams about.

Congratulations again, Wyatt!

Every golfer has one hole that just seems to have their number.

Every round has that one hole.
The one you know is coming.
The one you’ve played perfectly before.
The one that still somehow finds a way to humble you.

Valley Hill members — which hole gives you the most trouble, and why?

Let’s see which one gets mentioned the most.

THE BEST ROUNDS DON’T END ON 18. ⛳

The scorecard may be signed, but the conversations, food, drinks, and time together are just getting started.

Because Valley Hill isn’t only about where you play—it’s about where you belong after the final putt drops.

Catch the tournament. Grab something to eat. Settle the bets from the round. Spend time with the people who make the club feel like home.

That’s the part of club life you can’t find on a scorecard.

⛳ YOU MISSED LEFT. NOW WHAT?

Your approach leaks left and leaves you with this shot.

Plenty of green to work with—but those bunkers are close enough to make you think twice.

What’s the play?

A. Putter from off the green
B. Low bump-and-run
C. Open the face and send it high
D. Something completely different

Don’t just choose a letter. Drop the club, shot, and reasoning in the comments.

And tag the golfer in your group who pulls the 60° wedge for absolutely everything. 😂

👇 How are you getting this close?
