Spending time with someone you cherish can be done in a cost effective way. Here are some ideas:

When examining a budget versus actual spending, it's easy to see how small choices can have a big impact on your finances.
Every purchase is a potential choice to spend or not to spend money. Once that money is spent it cannot be spent again.
If you get a bonus from work or a gift, it's important to think through the best use of the resource.
Example:
$1,000 only goes up to $1,000.
If you spend $500, then you have $500, more.
If you need to use it to pay off debt, then you don't have that money to spend on something else.
It's a thought process you must get in the practice of using.
it's a simple but overlooked issue when dealing with finances.
