🌟 Kids’ Choice Award Winners! 🌟

A few weeks ago, our YMCA Youth & Family team came together for an amazing in-service celebration—and one of the highlights was recognizing our Kids’ Choice Award winners from each branch!

These special awards were chosen by the kids who use KidZone, making this recognition extra meaningful. It’s a wonderful reminder of the impact our staff have on the children and families we serve every day.

🎉 Congrats to our very own Shaina! Shaina was chosen by our mini members as their Kids’ Choice Award winner! Thank you for making KidZone a fun, welcoming, and positive place for our kids. 💙

The YROX Fitness Race is intense – not impossible.

Advance preparation makes the difference, and that's where Hutchinson YMCA trainers come in.

YROX Group Training sessions start next week. To get involved, you must sign up in person at our branch by Monday, September 14.

ABOUT TRAINING:

▪️ Attend morning/daytime/evening sessions twice a week for 8 weeks.
▪️ Learn beginner, intermediate and advanced modifications for each of the race's 8 functional fitness stations.
▪️ Be mentally and physically ready for race day on 10/31.
▪️ Become a ROX star in your own right

The only thing left to do is add your name to our training roster. You got this!

School is back in session and that means Splash is back this fall! We are so excited to be teaching life saving water skills to 2nd graders in Reno County!

🐢 Starting September 8th the family pool will be closed during the following times!

Monday-10:15am-1:15pm
Tuesday-10:45am-1:00pm
Wednesday-1:15pm-2:00pm
Thursday-10:45am-1:00pm
Friday-10:15am-11:45am

It has been a busy almost 3 months for our YMCA and staff! We all gathered on Sunday for some much deserve staff appreciation and fun! We heard from the CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System Benjamin Anderson and COO Jan Paul of HRHS about how the YMCA touched their lives.

Then we all went and had some fun from rubber duck races in the channel, minute to win it games and flipping into the foam pit in the gymnastics studio!

Our staff has done a great job and we appreciate them all!
