Parents are encouraged to join their children in classes in order to foster this family atmosphere. In 2008, the school became a non-profit organization and is governed by a seven-member board of directors. The school operates strictly through donations and fundraisers. The only fees that a student will pay are for belt promotion tests and for their tobak (uniform) should they choose to purchase one. The instructors offer their knowledge and time as a gift to the community of Hutchinson, Kansas. They are not only instructors of the art of Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan- they are examples and mentors to children of all races, financial backgrounds and religions.
