Gyro VS Down
Do what you want, but l'll NEVER ask nor ever have to "bring your hip through".
Majority of younger kids never develop true down when that cue is so over coached. They begin to ALWAYS "mimic" bringing their hip through in every close up drill. Add that with
"brush" cues, "IR" cues (that only get explained enough that they turnover the entire arm) and the pelvic position only gives access to gyro as fingers can't work through the ball.
