We have a few rare spots opening in October at Deirdre Dressage in North Austin, and I wanted to let you know before they are gone. Feel free to share with those who might be a good fit as well!
Our program is built for riders who want more than a place to keep their horse. We are a full-service boarding and training facility with a strong focus on correct foundations, ethical care, and helping each horse and rider develop with purpose. Fancy words, yes. But the point is simple: we want the horses happy, the riders educated, and the work done correctly.
At Deirdre Dressage, you have access to:
Full-service boarding
Staff on site
Lighted dressage arena
Lighted jumper arena
Gallop fields with hills
Turnout
Hot and cold wash racks
Large tack-up area and lockers
Trailer parking
Theraplate, Bemer blanket, red light therapy, equine massage, PEMF, and monthly vet/chiropractor visits
An equestrian gym
Hosted shows, team events, and a real barn community
Digital appointments, contracts, invoices, and payments because paperwork should not require a second career.
We also have a strong group of trainers available across disciplines:
Deirdre Sabo-Frary — Dressage
International competitor, USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, and the lead of our dressage program. Deirdre’s work is rooted in correct training, clear basics, and a horse-first approach. The goal is not just to make things look impressive for five seconds. The goal is to build something that lasts. Deirdre is also a Master Personal Trainer and Nutritionist with the International Sports Science Association and offers training sessions in our equestrian gym.
Guen Holden — Hunter/Jumper
Guen brings a strong foundation in traditional hunt seat equitation, horsemanship, and thoughtful instruction. Her program teaches riders not only what to do, but why it works.
Barrett Diehl — Eventing and Equine Sports Massage
Barrett is a USEA Certified Instructor, Pony Club graduate, USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, upper-level eventing competitor, experienced barn manager, and Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. She brings a practical, well-rounded eye to both horse and rider.
Melissa Lester — Vaulting and Working Equitation
Melissa coaches Mythic Vaulters, giving riders the chance to build confidence, body awareness, strength, and balance in a team-focused environment. It is a wonderful option for riders who want to grow their horsemanship in a different way.
Paige Seymour — Horse Training
Paige adds another valuable training option for the horses in our program. Deirdre personally uses her to start the young horses and put a solid base on her horses. If you are looking for someone to classically start your horse or put experience miles on your horse. Paige is your trainer.
Whether your goals are dressage, jumping, eventing, vaulting, working equitation, showing, building confidence, or simply giving your horse a better day-to-day program, this is a place where the work matters and the horse comes first.
These October openings do not come around often, and we are careful about who we bring into the barn. Because the right fit matters.
If you are interested in joining us, reply to this post (or message us) and tell us a little about you, your horse, and what you are looking for.
We would love to see if this is the right place for you.
