2024 YARMOUTH BIKE RODEO - MAY 25TH! FREE HELMETS AND MORE! Once again, we have partnered with Bike Zone to host the 2024 Bike Rodeo in South Yarmouth at the Sation Avenue Stop & Shop Plaza. With the assistance of Bike Zone employees, bikes will be checked to ensure the proper fit for your child and adjusted as needed. They will also teach children how to make simple repairs to their bikes, like filling tires with air and changing a flat tire. Officers will talk about what street signs mean (stop, yield, etc.), how to ride in traffic, and use hand signals while riding. Additionally, children will be taught about the different hazards they can face on the road, like potholes, animals, and vehicles. They can test their knowledge on an obstacle course to learn how to ride around these hazards safely. Stations will be setup, so children can learn how to balance, start and stop, ride straight, ride slowly, scan for traffic and signal. A course will also be set up for children to ride through and practice their skills. There will be PRIZES for ALL RIDERS!!

Bike Zone Yarmouth is Hiring!

Do you have a passion for cycling and want to get paid to work on them? We are looking for bike mechanics to join the Bike Zone family!
You have the option of working part-time or full-time. Plenty of hours to work during the summertime and there is work available in the off-season if you desire.

-----------------------------RESPONSIBILITIES-------------------------
-Perform small repairs for bikes on the spot
-Maintain rental/demo fleet
-Perform tune-ups and repairs for customers bikes
-Diagnose mechanical issues on bikes
-Assess the condition of bikes and estimate repair costs
-Install various components on bikes
-Interact and assist customers over the phone and in person
