This is the last of the series. Since moving to Idaho Falls I have several new students. Some are on the path to open up a school or are teaching privately. I keep striving to keep Great Grandmaster Leung Shum's wish to expand the real Ying Jow Pai so it doesn't become lost or modified. I have been a teacher and taught in High School, University, business and then as a Sifu. My experience in th martial arts has enabled me to write two books, See the world, perform in opera, write three plays and perform, fight coordinator in move, actor and meet some of the most influential politicians, actors, as well as famous martial arts instructors. It has given me a life experience that you cannot put a price on. I thank each and everyone of my students, teachers, and those that I've met along the path of my life for their friendship and inspiration. I especially thank my wife for whom none of this would have been available.

It's getting toward the end. Only one more of the series 35 years teaching.Having students and grand students performing at the Headquarters was a special moment. I'm proud of all my students who achieved their ranking. Five white sashes ( a too to be sixth)and over 16 black sashes in a system that has the highest standards set by Great GrandMaster Shum. Teaching these standards has helped many of my students reach personal and intellectual goals as they became better citizens and were able to go on to be leaders in their families and the community they live in.

Today, 25 years later, we remember those we lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, volunteers and others who stepped forward to help in the aftermath. We remember their lives, their courage and the spirit of service that brought people together in the days that followed. 🙏🏾

Had a great weekend. Was one of the selected authors for the Eastern Idaho authors league. The tent was at the Idaho Falls Farmers Market. Sold thirteen of the "A Plan to Win!" and seven of the Tai Chi Kung Fu Comparison" book. Even though the market wasn't really for a martial art book it is doing very well. Beautiful Day in the 70's.
