We are so proud of and 🎉🎉🎉 Both earned their blackbelts recently, the first mother son promotion ever! You might recognize Jen from her work with Smart Defense as our head coach as well as our head coach for all of Southern Utah. We are so lucky to have such amazing humans representing Smart Defense! is an incredible coach as well and does amazing work with both our Men’s and Women’s programs. Congratulations all around! 🎉🎉🎉

Introducing Smart Defense for Men, a dynamic combatives program designed to empower men and boys aged 12 and up with the skills and confidence to navigate potentially harmful situations. This innovative training goes beyond physical techniques, equipping participants with the mental acuity to recognize threats early and the practical know-how to intervene effectively. Whether it’s protecting themselves or those around them, Smart Defense for Men builds a comprehensive skill set that blends situational awareness, de-escalation strategies, and hands-on self-defense tactics. Perfect for men of all backgrounds, this program fosters strength, preparedness, and a commitment to safety in an unpredictable world. After successfully teaching at universities throughout Utah for the past couple of years, we’re thrilled to offer this class to the public for the first time!
