Misty, you were smart, funny, stubborn as I get out, and sassy. Boy, were you sassy. You were loved and cared for. You were trustworthy, reliable, bomb proof as they come. You were the one I picked when I wanted a nice easy ride. Where I could pile me and my kids on and you would take care of all of us. I have so many memories of you. Way too many to share, but some when I was just so in awe of how amazing you were. How you always had my back. And some memories where I wanted to kill you my self. 😬 when I would spend 45mins plus chasing you around and cussing you out for not coming and running away... I would run that whole pasture a hundred times over if it meant I got to go on one more ride with you... Just to pet your nose and feel your hot breathe again. ❤️ You were with me for 24 years. You knew my secrets and fears. Hopes and dreams. You have my heart, no matter where you are. I only hope you knew how much I love you. How much your whole family loves you. Your herd will miss their queen, because that is what you are a mother freakin queen. I could go on and on about you... right now I will just hold you close to my heart. 💔
One of my 1st memories of horses is when I was with Misty as a baby. My dad was on her mom (Red) and leading Misty. I don't remember too much of the ride but I remember being on her when she didn't want to cross a little ditch. Then, my dad telling me it was OK and to hold on she would get it. Sure enough she did. One of the first times I rode alone on a trail ride. I was so proud of myself and Misty. She helped build my confidence in riding and life. You will be missed. Nothing can replace you and the love I have for you. Rest in peace sweet girl you earned it. ❤️ Tango take care of our girl. Take her running to the sunset for me. 🌅🐎🐎

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the loss a great one, Misty. This week she went down to the creek, and with her feet to the west and her head layed on the bank looking down stream, she passed. She was the first mare here on the ranch and certainly one of the most beloved, she was one that cannot be replaced and with her gone leaves all of us here with a hole in our hearts.

Hey all!, with spring just around the corner we thought we would announce some changes for the 2023 season. Due to recent developments and construction we will no longer offer guided trail rides, we will still continue to offer private lessons and equine training. Slots will be limited in both categories, thank you all so much!
