Pioneer 400

400'ish mile bikepacking loop in the heart of Southeastern Idaho and Northern Utah's Mormon country. The route parallels the Pioneer Historic Byway. Fitzgerald's Bicycles (Idaho Falls, ID) is the favorite start location with a 1/2 way stop off at Joy Ride Bicycles (Logan, UT) before returning to Idaho Falls. The route rides to two different hot springs Lava Hot Springs at mile 92 and Maple Grove Hot Springs two times at miles 120.5 and 232.5 for a second time. Mile 142 in the town of Preston, ID is the home of Napolean Dynamite.
