This one takes a minute to get there… Just like most hunts in Alaska, it takes some time, patience, and struggle before dreams come true…

You spend years dreaming about Alaska and the animal you hope to bring home. You don’t give much thought to how hard it might be to say goodbye to the people who help you get there.

Then you share a camp. You ride out the weather, push through the hard miles, and laugh until you forget how cold and tired you are. Somewhere along the way, the guide you just met becomes a friend you’ll call for the rest of your life.

That’s the kind of hunt we want to give you.

At Bushwhack Alaska, being the best starts with the people beside you. Guides who keep digging when the hunt gets tough. A crew that cares as much about your experience as you do. People you’re proud to share a mountain, a meal, and a memory with.

We hope you leave with the animal you came for. We want you to leave knowing you’ve always got a place in our camp.

Montana Knife Company launches the film documenting this hunt today on their YouTube channel. Go check it out we think you’re gonna like it.

The weather is one thing. The animals are something else entirely.
An Alaskan guide and his equipment have to perform through relentless rain, brutal terrain, heavy loads and long days that test everything. There’s no room for shortcuts and no substitute for gear that works when failure isn’t an option.
This is Alaska. You earn every mile and every opportunity.
