PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Beginning on 9/29/2025, the new extended Night Vision Coyote Season will begin. Although in the past, spotlights and/or gunshots at night during deer season were a cause for concern, this season Coyote hunters are permitted to use night vision, thermal imaging, and artificial lights to pursue Coyotes during the deer season. THIS EXCLUDES THE MUZZLELOADER and REGULAR FI****MS DEER SEASONS and will continue until the end of March 2026. This equipment is PROHIBITED to hunt Coyotes on Public Land (Public Hunting Areas and WIHAs) and cannot be used in conjunction with a vehicle.
We ask all hunters, landowners, farmers and the public to be cognizant of their surroundings, and all participants to KNOW WHAT IS BEHIND YOUR TARGET.
