2009 raptor 90 needed some carb cleaning TLC and a new starter solenoid. To start the season off fresh we also gave this little thing a fresh engine and trans oil change, relived air filters and fresh fuel.

Thank you Gary for choosing TBW. This Polaris scrambler is now ready for more action. Carb was leaking fuel constantly due to poor sealing of the valve needle. New needle valve assembly, and fresh bowl gasket sealed this carb up. Made it run great with minor adjustments and with a new idle screw bracket as well. Has a loud clanking sound at idle so we checked out the valve lash. 1 intake valve was pretty tight and both exhaust valves were too loose past spec. All valves are now within the 0.15mm spec. Unfortunately the clanking sound is coming from the crank case vent tube so crank bearings might be on their way out. Topped off low coolant and fresh fuel, onto the next one.

Little slower this year but still thankful for This amazing lift. 2 years and still strong, let’s keep this table filled but not for storage. I’m here to fix those broken toys to create more memories. Let’s get them projects fixed up.
