Overtime Racing

A Great Weekend of Racing Finally!
World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway) has always been a favorite track for us. We have won a couple track championships there and they know how to run a race!
With rain in the forecast they said they would make every effort to get the race in. We had a 2 hour delay but both races were finished.
Made it 6 rounds to the semifinals in the first race with a car and driver doing a great job. We lost in round 3 Sunday when the car fell off with some tricky weather conditions.
Enjoyed visiting with our racing family and the car drove back in the trailer.
We had FUN! 🏁

Our weekend didn’t go as planned.
Clayton was finally able to race for the first time since last August and the weather was cooperating but the car had other plans.
Our first time trial the car and driver picked up right where they left off last year.
As Clayton turned off the track he noticed the oil pressure dropping and clicked off the engine. After pushing back to the trailer we determined our weekend was over.
After a little tear down we found the oil pump pickup broke and was laying in the bottom of the pan.
No other problems found and the engine will be ready for our next outing.

Race Season is here and we are kicking it off at one of our favorite tracks.
Can’t wait to hang out with our Gateway Racing family and friends at World Wide Technology Raceway!

Congratulations to John Force John Force Racing on a career everyone dreams about.

The cars are all settled in for the long winter off season.
Our racing calendar was much lighter this season with Clayton moving to Tennessee to start his career in Mechanical Engineering with Kiewit.
Clayton was only able to make 3 races total.
Andy managed to race 5 times this season and enjoyed hanging out with our racing family at the track.
It is always FUN being at the track any time we can get together.
Hope everyone has a safe off season and looking forward to the next year!
