Pirates of Purgatory Boffer Unit

This is the Home of the Pirates of Purgatory,the Boffer unit in Independence,Missouri.We abide by both Dagorhir and Belegarth rules,and act as if a family.

We are a group of people dedicated to playing and supporting the foam fighting sport of both Dagorhir and Belegarth. We do what is called battle gaming or sometimes called Live Action Gaming, which differs from the original "Larp" you will hear about a lot. We meet once a week on Sunday at Hill Park in Independence Mo at 3:00 pm to whenever we get tired! Battle gaming is a combat game using padded

Practice this last Sunday was so much fun, it lasted 2 hours over what we usually fight! we had 3 guests from Dominion of the Unconquered Sun join us and a bunch of new members too! Thanks so much to all that came out and we look forward to next Sunday for fun at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival!
