MCC-Blue River Soccer - Trail Blazers

Any soccer alumni want to play against current MCC players at the Silverstein Eye Center before the Comets game next Thursday, March 5, 2020? Scrimmage time would be 5:15-6:15 p.m. Comets game is at 7 p.m. Tickets would be $13. Not enough current players wanted to attend, but there are enough to play coed against alumni. MCC Night at the Kansas City Comets is Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 7 p.m. Tickets purchased through MCC Wolves soccer program are only $13 (see flyer). MCC is also auctioning off a 14-person luxury suite for use the same night (food and drinks not included). Contact [email protected] to purchase tickets and/or to make a bid for the suite (minimum bid is $400). Proceeds from the sale of the luxury suite go to support the MCC Wolves soccer program.

All current players, player families and MCC alumni, come sign up to play in our MCC athletics golf fundraiser. Will be a great time! We are also looking for hole sponsors. If anyone has a business they want to promote, proceeds from sponsoring a hole ($250) will go to the MCC soccer program.

The MCC Wolves Golf Classic ⛳ will be held Sept. 23 at Shoal Creek Golf Course. This annual fundraiser supports MCC athletes by providing equipment, scholarships and travel expenses. Register as an individual or team at shoalcreekgolf.com/wolvesgolfclassic

Congratulations to the MCC Wolves women's soccer team on their NJCAA Region XVI Championship! MCC came back from 1-0 down off goals from Kailey Boyer and Ally Jones, along with an assist from Abigail Groom. The game ended tied 2-2 after double overtime and was decided by penalty kicks. Goalkeeper Chloe DeShazer made three big saves in the penalty kick shootout, while Abigail Groom, Ally Jones, Kimberlyn Snelling and Brittany Alvarado made their kicks to seal a 4-3 penalty kick victory and MCC's second NJCAA Region XVI women's soccer title.

MCC's women's soccer team has advanced to the NJCAA Region XVI finals! The match will be played at 2 p.m. Sunday (10/28) at Bingham Middle School, 1716 S. Speck Road, Independence MO 64057. We'll be battling St. Charles Community College. Come out and support the Wolves!

Today's MCC women's soccer game versus Kansas City Kansas Community College is cancelled due to severe weather forecast and standing water on the KCKCC field. The game will not be able to be rescheduled because of incompatibility of schedules between the programs this late in the season.

The MCC Wolves women's soccer game scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. has been moved to the Kansas City Kansas Community College field. Address to KCKCC is 7250 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66112. The change of venue is due to wet conditions at the MCC-Blue River campus field. Game time is still 2 p.m. Come on out and support the Wolves!

2018 Women's and Men's MCC Wolves Soccer Team

MCC Wolves men's and women's soccer games against Northeast Community College were cancelled for today due to thunderstorms in Norfolk, NE.

The next games are at home game against Southwestern Illinois College. Date: Saturday, 9/22/18. Time: 2 pm (men) and 4 pm (women). Location: Bingham Middle School, 1716 South Speck Road, Independence, MO 64057. Admission is free. Go Wolves!

MCC Women's and Men's Wolves soccer games have had a location and time switch due to poor weather. Games are now at 12:30 pm (women) and 2:30 pm (men). Location is now Scheels Overland Park Sports Complex, 13700 Switzer Road, Overland Park, KS 66221. Games will be on field #1.
