The Independence Community Ice Rink is a year-round ice facility dedicated to ice sports and recreation!
The Independence Community Ice Rink is one of the premier ice skating facilities in the Midwest. Located right next to Cable Dahmer Arena, the rink offers year-round ice skating programming. Such as; youth/adult recreational hockey leagues, learn to skate lessons, figure skating clubs, public skating, and general ice sports training.

Join us for Adaptive Skate on April 11 from 3:45–4:45 PM — a free, low-sensory skating session designed for individuals with special needs and their families.
With dimmed lights, no loud music, and a welcoming environment, it’s all about enjoying the ice at your own pace. Sleds and walkers will be available.
