Jeff’s a packrafting guide in Alaska who loves a splashy whitewater run and a good long expedition. He’s on RallyCrew, and we’re pretty excited about all the people you can meet there who you might never cross paths with otherwise.

Sometimes you have a trip in mind and need people to go with. Sometimes meeting someone is what gets the trip going in the first place. We want more of that. More people finding each other and actually getting out to paddle together.

So much of paddling comes down to knowing people. Who’s up for a lap after work? Who knows the run you’ve been eyeing? Where can you find an instructor to help you work on something that’s been giving you trouble?

That’s a big part of why we built RallyCrew. It’s a free app for whitewater paddlers, with ways to find each other close to home or wherever you’re headed next. You can organize trips with your crew and keep a log of the rivers you’ve paddled. There are courses and events from paddling businesses and clubs around the world, and groups where you can ask questions and get to know the people you might end up on the water with.

There’s so much knowledge and experience in this community. We want to make it easier to find each other and put more of those “we should go paddle” conversations on the calendar.
