The Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team, led by Head Coach Jason Ramey, is looking to add one strong infielder with speed to our roster of 10 players. More importantly than anything, we're looking for the right fit for our close-knit team culture and family atmosphere.

✅ 2030 or 2031 Graduate Year Players

✅ Strong infielder with speed (Left-Handed Hitter a Plus)

✅ Experienced Middle School/High School/Travel Softball player

✅ Positive attitude + team-first mentality

The Carolina Wombats 12U Softball Team, led by Coach Justin Bryson and based out of Waxhaw and Indian Land, will be moving up to 14U this fall. Starting Wednesday, we will be holding open practices every Wednesday (May 27th, June 3rd and June 10th) from 6:00–8:00 PM at Indian Land Rec Center.

We are looking for dedicated players who want to compete, grow, and be part of a positive team culture. All positions are welcome. Outfielders and Pitchers are a plus.

We play a competitive schedule including Top Gun, DC, and PG tournaments.

🥎🔥 Another Strong Weekend for the Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team! 🔥🥎

The Carolina Wombats battled all day at the Perfect Game Softball Spring Fling Tournament in Sophia, NC on Saturday, May 16th and finished as Gold Bracket Runner-Up after an impressive 3-1 weekend!

💪 Tournament Results:
✅ Pool Game #1 – 5-0 Win vs. Virginia Yellow Jackets
✅ Pool Game #2 – 5-4 Win vs. Freedom Fastpitch Woods
✅ Gold Bracket Semifinal – 10-6 Win vs. Carolina Elite Davis
⚔️ Gold Bracket Championship – 5-4 Loss vs. Next Top Recruits Triad

The Wombats had an outstanding day at the plate hitting .382 as a team with 10 extra base hits. The pitching was strong as always with our pitchers combining with a 2.73 ERA on the day!

With the 3-1 finish, the Wombats improve to 12-3 overall this season and continue building an impressive spring resume:

The Carolina Wombats 11U Baseball Team closed out an unforgettable season in style by bringing home the Battle on the Turf Top Gun Baseball Silver Bracket Championship with a dominant 10-1 victory over Elite9 Navy on Sunday, May 17th at Catawba Park in Tega Cay, SC! 🔥🐾

What a way to finish an incredible 11U season! This group competed, battled, and represented the Wombats the right way all year long. Season accomplishments included:

🥈 1 Silver Bracket Championship
🥈 2 Gold Bracket Runner-Up Finishes
🔥 6 Gold Bracket Finishes in 8 Tournaments

This game also marked the final game for this team at the 11U level as we now officially turn the page and prepare for the next chapter—12U Baseball this Fall! ⚾⬆️

The Carolina Wombats 10U Softball Team is looking to add a primary position pitcher for our upcoming Fall 2026 season.

We are seeking a dedicated, coachable athlete with a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude to join a competitive and development-focused program.

Player Eligibility:

📍 Late 2015 DOB / All 2016 DOB Players

Our focus is on player development, fundamentals, confidence building, and competing at a high level in travel softball.

For families seeking discretion, we are happy to schedule a private practice/evaluation session for confidentiality, or your athlete is welcome to join us at one of our regular team practices to experience the environment firsthand.

The Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team battled back in a BIG way on Saturday to bring home the Silver Bracket Championship at the Perfect Game Softball Bombs for Moms Mother’s Day Tournament at Jennings Park in Statesville, NC! 💪🥎

After a tough opening game, the Wombats responded with three straight dominant victories to finish the day 3-1 and improve to 9-2 overall this spring season!
