Joint pain during menopause?
I don't want you to automatically assume it's “just menopause.”
And I also don't want you to think pushing through it is the answer.
You have options beyond ignoring the pain or testing how much you can tolerate.
❌ Assume every new ache is menopause.
✅ Get new, persistent, or worsening pain checked.
❌ Keep doing a movement that aggravates a joint.
✅ Stop the aggravating movement and ask about suitable alternatives.
❌ Judge a workout only by how much weight you lifted.
✅ Pay attention to how your body feels during movement—and afterward.
Sometimes the right strategy is a different exercise.
Sometimes it's backing off.
And sometimes it's getting the pain evaluated.
Those choices aren't competing with your fitness goals. They can work together.
Your body isn't asking you to prove how tough you are.
It's asking you to listen.
💾 Save this reminder: getting pain checked goes hand in hand with your fitness plan.
