Helps you feel fuller: It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register that you're full. When you eat slowly, you're more likely to stop eating before you've overeaten.
Reduces stress: Eating slowly can help you relax and enjoy your food more. This can reduce stress levels and improve your overall mood.
Here are a few tips for slowing down your eating:
- Put down your fork or spoon between bites.
- Take smaller bites.
- Chew your food thoroughly.
- Avoid distractions while eating, such as watching TV or using your phone.
