!!Meadow Lane Golf Course Junior Golf Program!!

The Meadow Lane Junior Golf Program is an instruction-based program for Junior Golfers of all ages and skill levels with the focus on learning key fundamentals of the swing, having fun, and enjoying the atmosphere golf has to provide. We also teach proper etiquette and rules of the game so that the Junior Golfer can make the most of their experience on the golf course.

During the program, your Junior Golfers will participate in many fun activities that will help them develop and understand the motion of the golf swing. Some of these activities include throwing a baseball, Frisbee, and football. We also play kickball/kick a ball, hit balls with a tennis racket, and baseballs off of a T-ball stand.

Why do we do these activities? To help your Junior Golfers grow as athletes and develop Sequential Motion. Sequential Motion is the action of a chain of body segments, leading to a high-velocity motion of external objects, resulting in the production of a summated velocity at the end of the chain of segment used.

The golf swing is an extremely complex motion and by breaking it down and relating it to other sports or activities children start to understand the swing a lot easier. By using the activities mentioned above, the game becomes more understandable and enjoyable. Our main goal during the Junior Golf Program is to teach every Junior Golfer how to understand their golf swing and instill a love for the game of golf.
