Hello my friends! On March 12th, 2013 my life ended due to an overdose. I so miss seeing all of you. I am watching over you every day. I see all the wonderful things that have been created since my death. I am overwhelmed with your kindness. Almost 9 years has passed and my Dad comes to see me every week, sometimes a few times just to chat. I see him Struggling and crying. Please folks, reach out to those who need a helping hand for any reason. I will see you again. Keep helping others as it's saving lives. The Pennsylvania Good Samaritan law protects people who call 911 during an overdose emergency from charges/prosecution for possession of a small amount of drugs if you:
🔸 provide your name
🔸 stay with the person until help arrives
🔸 cooperate with law enforcement

Responding to an opioid overdose:
1 - Try to wake the person up
2 - Call 911
3 - Administer Narcan
4 - Check breathing
5 - Stay with them

Experiencing an overdose can be traumatic. Support people returning to consciousness with kindness and without judgment.

Thanks everyone for showing up don’t forget our elections are next week! If you’re interested in running please email us or message us the position you are interested in.

We’re asking that you prepare a post to go on our instagram story and Group Me about yourself and why you’d be a good fit for President/Vice-President/Treasurer/Secretary and send it to us so that we can share it with our members.

We will be posting a google poll Monday night, 19th that will close Tuesday, 20th at 7pm then to vote! If you have any questions let us know!

Don't forget tonight from 7-8pm is our second training workshop on "Overdosing & Narcan" over zoom (989 5999 6338). Come for an hour of community service and to learn a little more about the opioid epidemic!
