If you noticed, we have been pushing a whole health approach with our athletes since attending a seminar with the in February. We came back motivated to improve the lives of our athletes and our community.
We do all of the things inside the gym to stay active, healthy, and improve our longevity. We also need to understand what’s happening inside our bodies. By getting annual bloodwork, we are able to work with health professionals to make clear decisions to improve our biomarkers. We can’t change our genetics but we can make better health and nutritional decisions to better our outcomes.
One of our athlete’s ended up visiting a cardiologist after receiving their lab results. This athlete was given suggestions from the cardiologist for improvements and will now work closely with Eckenrode Dietetics to make good dietary choices to lessen the chance of cardiac events in the future. I can’t recommend Randi enough. I’m so grateful for this collaboration and her encouraging those with high biomarkers to seek assistance from specialists after reviewing their WHOLE HEALTH.
This is preventative maintenance. This is taking steps to improve your health and longevity. These steps will hopefully prevent individuals from being blindsided by catastrophic events later.
The visualizer hub with bloodwork results (2nd photo) makes it easy to understand, easy to share with healthcare professionals, and easy to track changes.

Congratulations to for qualifying for the 2026 CrossFit Adaptive Games! She placed 2nd in the world last year and we can’t wait to see where she lands in San Jose next month!

We track our workouts to see progress and improvements in our work capacity. We track our nutrition to ensure we are fueling our bodies properly. It only makes sense that we test our cardio respiratory fitness to optimize our workouts, evaluate our heart- lung efficiency, and improve our health markers for longevity.
VO2 max testing is a great test of our fitness and health. We will also provide a RMR (resting metabolic test) that gives an accurate number of calories burned at rest. This will be a great tool for those wanting to lose weight, overcome a weight loss plateau, and is a great way to optimize your fueling for performance.
