Wearing sunscreen daily, wearing a hat in the sun, and staying hydrated are all important to healthy skin! π Not only is this important for protecting against skin disease, but it's imperative for maintaining body hydration, which will affect your fitness performance and progress.
Summer is the best time to add some zest to your water too! π₯πAdding fresh fruit or cucumbers to your water can give a fun spin on hydration.

βοΈ Summertime can be tough for maintaining your workout schedule because you're so tempted to be outside soaking up the sunshine, and many folks also have trips planned (see our vacation series to help with workouts during your vacation)!
Please do your best to set a schedule for your workouts and stick to it so you're not falling away from the habits you've worked so hard to establish. β A great tip is to look ahead and incorporate the season WITH your workouts.
For example, if you have off in the summer -- try to invite a friend over to do your workouts with you. πͺ Plan to do your workout outside on your porch or deck. Adjust your schedule to get your workout in first thing in the morning -- so that when evening comes, you can sit back and enjoy dinner on your deck with the family.

Summer Slay Challenge! ππ₯ Walk 50 miles in 30 days! π Let's get outside or walk more on your tread - this is in addition to your daily step count. Who's with me??
To help - I'm also offering a "Walk With Me Wednesday" for people who might want to meet up for walks on Wednesday mornings.
