Annual Grover Golf Open

Proud to share on this Sunday — Daniel’s favorite day of the week — that The Grover Memorial has donated funds to First Tee to bring an elementary golf program to all three New Palestine elementary schools. ⛳️✨

Sean recently visited First Tee’s new headquarters to deliver the check and discuss how the remaining memorial funds can continue to make an impact.

We know Daniel would be so proud of how his memorial is helping kids in our community learn the game he loved — and the values it teaches.

We hope to share photos with you once the program is up and running in the schools. 📸 Stay tuned as we continue working with First Tee to donate the remainder of the memorial funds and keep Daniel’s legacy growing! 🏌️💚🏌️‍♀️

Our family is so very thankful to be able to celebrate Daniel with you, and raise money in his name for First Tee! The outing continues to be successful because of the wonderful volunteers, donors, golfers and Pleasant Run employees who show up for our family! We are grateful 💚

Uncle Bubby would’ve been proud of Liam’s 1st time competing in the Drive, Chip, and Putt competition! Cool as a cucumber..he completed each shot. Finished in the middle of the pack and is looking forward to coming back next year!

Grover Golf Open Committee

We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Roger Lundy. We were lucky to have him assist us in our efforts in getting programming started with our Grover Open funding. He was a coach for Liam multiple times through First Tee. He was a wonderful teacher, mentor and his passion for kids to learn life skills through golf was always apparent. Our thoughts are with his family and friends ❤️

Another AMAZING Grover Open! Thank you to our volunteers, our sponsors and our golfers who come together to make this day special! It was a beautiful day to celebrate Daniel’s memory while raising money for the next generation of golfers. With the help of all of you, we once again successfully raised thousands of dollars for First Tee! We’re thankful for the relationship we’ve created with Roger Lundy & Lucy Ross at First Tee-Indiana so we can continue to expand programming in Eastern Marion, Hancock and Shelby Counties.

Our family is blessed to have had all of your support over these last three years! It has not been easy for us, or many of you, as we miss Daniel every day. However, seeing all of you at the outing, and hearing memories of Daniel is a bright spot in our year. It means so much to our family to have you spend the day with us!
