🥎 WEEKEND RECAP | Indiana Magic Gold 2032 Futures Kruse 🥎
Another weekend of high-level competition and another opportunity for this group to compete, learn and keep getting better.
🔥 OFFENSIVE HIGHLIGHTS
⭐ Paige Kruse #10 had a huge weekend at the plate, hitting .667 with a .700 OBP and 1.700 OPS. She collected 6 hits, 4 RBI, 3 runs, a double and a triple, while also stealing 2 bases. She finished the weekend with quality at-bats in 80% of her plate appearances.
⭐ Elsie Watson #55 was all over the bases, hitting .625 with a .636 OBP and 1.386 OPS. She finished with 5 hits, 6 RBI, 3 runs, a double and 3 stolen bases. Even more impressive — Elsie hit .800 with runners in scoring position and drove in 3 runs with two outs.
⭐ Adrian Lupfer #4 hit .500 with a 1.306 OPS, collecting 4 hits, 3 RBI and a triple. Adrian also delivered when it mattered, recording 2 two-out RBI.
⭐ Maeli Miller #8 reached base at a .556 clip, did not strike out all weekend and recorded quality at-bats in nearly 67% of her plate appearances.
⭐ Kamden Townsend #77 helped keep the offense moving, reaching base at a .462 clip and scoring a team-high 7 runs.
💪 IN THE CIRCLE
⭐ Elsie Watson #55 threw 6.1 innings, allowing just 1 earned run while striking out 6. She finished the weekend with a 0.95 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .200 batting average.
⭐ Tenley DeMien #40 allowed zero earned runs over 2.2 innings of work and struck out 4.
⭐ Alison Shirk #11 handled a big workload for us, throwing 10 innings and recording 15 strikeouts.
📊 BY THE NUMBERS
As a team, IMG 2032 Futures Kruse finished the weekend with 26 hits, 21 runs, 17 RBI and 7 stolen bases, while hitting .347 with a .452 team OBP.
But the numbers are only part of it. Every weekend against strong competition gives this young group another chance to grow. We continue to see players stepping into bigger moments, competing for each other and learning what it takes to play at a high level.
