Age is just a number!
I’ll be 57 in a few months. Yoga has made me feel stronger and healthier than I’ve felt in years. The best time to start is 10 years ago, OR today! It’s never too late to begin again. 💓 - Elizabeth
My advice for someone trying yoga for the first time is to be gentle and patient with yourself. I’ve come a long way since I started, and in the beginning, I struggled to stay consistent. Once I began noticing the small growth and changes, I realized how important it was to commit to it. I always remind myself that yoga is a practice, not perfection. -Susannah

This week, and shared some of their favorite Y6 classes! Take a look at the classes they love below 👇❤️

My favorite YogaSix class is Sculpt and Flow because it lets me spend quality time with my mom, I always get the best endorphin rush afterward, and I’ve genuinely gotten so much stronger. My mom encouraged me to start going, and I’ve been consistent for about a year now. It was definitely way harder at first, but once you stick with it for about 21 days and get into a routine, it really becomes a habit. Shoutout to Liz for being the best part of our week! - Susannah
I first started at Y6 doing the restore class. It was a great way to detox from my the stresses of the world. It brought me a lot of mental clarity and peace. Then I tried sculpt & flow last year and it truly changed my life. It has made me stronger and more confident. The fact that I can share this time with my daughter is the very best part! - Elizabeth

Say hello to two of our Y6 Indy regulars and mother/daughter duo Elizabeth and Susannah!👋 Learn more about & below.🧘‍♀️💕✨

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, I grew up in northeastern Indiana and have lived in Indy since college. I am head of HR for an environmental services company, which keeps me very busy with travel and endless meetings. Yoga keeps me grounded and restores the energy I need for working with people. My greatest accomplishment is being a mom to three awesome kiddos- two boys, 26 & 21, and my daughter, 24, who I adore and have the privilege of practicing yoga with!
Hi! I’m Susannah and I’m from the south side of Indianapolis. I work as an elementary school counselor and really enjoy working with kids. I have one dog named Luna and one cat named Baka and love all animals. In my free time, I like reading, listening to music, working out, and traveling. One of the best parts of my week is doing yoga with my mom. We motivate each other, show up for ourselves and each other and work toward our goals together. I’m also currently working on my master’s degree in Forensic Psychology through Arizona State University.
