No More Racing At Indiana State Fairgrounds Dirt Mile | SPEED SPORT The tradition of racing at the Indiana State Fairgrounds one-mile dirt track is coming to an end.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our 2015 Indy Mile Winner Brad Baker. Stay Strong!

We are with heavy hearts today as we learned about the passing of Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone Radio Show. Barry was a not only an amazing announcer, but such an important person in helping progress flat track motorcycle racing. He was a true professional and wonderful to work with all those years. The motorcycle community lost a great one today. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Our hearts are heavy with hearing the news about Nicky Hayden- The Kentucky Kid today. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the entire motorcycle community.

Our thoughts are with Dominic Colindres, DONATE if you can!

Twenty-two year old Dominic Colindres crashed hard landing over the jump at the Peoria TT on August 14. Dom just shared the following update on his page: "My crash at Peoria left me with 2 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, punctured lung, 6 broken teeth, and the biggest thing... I am now paralyzed from my heart below, with no feeling."

Statement from Family Events: To our Flat Track Fans. After careful consideration, we have determined that it is unfeasible to produce the Indy Mile in 2016. Most forms of racing have experienced declines in attendance in the recent past. For several years, the Indy Mile ran counter to that trend thanks to a large pool of motorcycle racing fans assembled in Indianapolis for the Moto GP weekend. Unfortunately that crowd-building fan synergy is no longer available. With no alternative dates that hold the promise of returning to profitability; we simply have decided not to pursue producing the Indy Mile for 2016. We have had some great memories putting this race on for the fans since 2008 and we thank each and every one of you for coming out every year. We want to thank the racers, our sponsors and everyone who has helped us along the way.

Jared Mees earns third Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by Vance & Hines championship in four years Jared Mees finished third in the AMA Pro Flat Track Season Finale on Friday night at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, but it didn’t matter, as he had already clinched the 2015 Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by Vance & Hines championship before the main event had even started.
