We'll be playing dodgeball at Fredrick Douglass Park, from 5:00 to 7:00pm!
Looking for more friends? Struggle to make time for your social health? Tired of having to pay, to have a good time? ME TOO! Let's fix that together.

Join me and our growing friend group, for an evening of tomfoolery, where we'll hop jump and skip through a series of dodgeball-esque games, while we get to know each other.

Social-anxiety? Don't sweat it, me too. We can skip the awkward small talk, and jump right into the fun. Get to know everyone in the goofiest way possible.

Physical limitations? Got it! Leveraging my experience as a former play therapist, I have a million and one modifications, to make sure that anyone that wants to play, can. All you have to do, is show up. I'll handle the rest.

Can't make it? Give us a follow! We're currently run regular events on Sundays, but as we grow, we'll have more opportunities to expand.

🛼COMING THROUGH!!! Our friends over at Trinity Haven Indy are hosting a FREE skating event at the roller cave on July 17th, from 6PM to 8PM. It looked like so much fun, that we just HAD to share it! 🤩

Lets get together for a night of all ages fun, dancing, and community. Food, drink, AND skate rental are on the house!
👶And did you know, that the Roller Cave has training frames for new skaters, young and old? They really think of everything!

We're bringing recess to BLACK: A Festival of Joy with a pop-up next Saturday July 12th!
Come eat, dance, and PLAY with us, Black Joy Indy, and the rest of your community, at Riverside Park from 3 to 9pm, for a celebration of black joy.
You'll find us wandering around with our usual bag of tricks, throwing balls and making friends.

🛝WE'RE BACK!!!
After taking a quick hiatus for pride, we're back at it with a full month of play! End your weekend on a high note by joining us every Sunday this month for community recess, where we'll introduce you to new games, new people, new locations, and new communities!

Along with our normal tomfoolery, this month we're teaming up with two local orgs, Super Solar Circle on July 14th, for a low intensity recess session and Pitch in Theology on July 28th.

🪻 Celestial Creative Collective is a semi-regular meetup of free-spirited individuals who foster a safe, laid-back, and welcoming community to express themselves, escape from the pressures of daily life, be immersed in nature, and explore their inner being. (Snacks, drinks, music, and vibes will be provided, more info to come.)

🌻 Pitch in Theology is a q***r owned and led, non-denominational religious organization that focuses on addressing and healing religious trauma within the q***r community, through Restorative Theology, and healing. (This gathering is part of their non religious Community Funday program.)

We're bringing recess to the Indy Pride Festival!
Keep an eye out for our bright yellow shirts, to join in on our mini games. Play sessions will happen at random intervals, and locations through the entirety of the event.

Can we give the biggest round of applause to everyone that came out to play on Sunday?!

Arguably my favorite part of any session, is seeing the group's transformation from shy silliness, to absolute tomfoolery over the course of just an hour/hour and a half as we get to know each other. And although our sessions are guided, recess is ONLY as good as the energy that each individual player brings.
And boy did they BRING ENERGY!

From our group's indominable memory skills, to seeing players throw their entire bodies into the game (literally), to the genuine attention and care everyone had towards their fellow players' safety, comfort, and wellbeing, we couldn't have asked for a better first round.
