Northern Michigan snowstorm ⛄

Quick trip to Sutton's Bay as the sun came up. Coffee and a muffin by the lake for breakfast. Not enough words to describe fall in Northern Michigan.

The Leelanau Trail is a lovely part of the network.

Hancock Flat 50. Finished dead last in my age group. But I finished!

Great event. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely not flat 🤣

Late 1970s Trek. Beautiful, old American made road bike that was taken on European adventures and all over the USA.

I was given this bike by my mother's dear friend. It belonged to her late husband who passed away a few years ago. Other than normal signs of being sat for years (diiiirty, rotten tires, brakes, etc), it is in very good condition.

Definitely deserves another shot at being on the road. Hopefully it can find a new place to call home in the spring. Should make a great vintage steed for someone ❤️

Rode in my first Hilly Hundred. Great day for a bike ride in the hills of Indiana. The biggest hills felt like mountains to me. It's very evident that I only ride on flat land 😂

The Candydale did a good job. It's hill climbing abilities we're let down by tired legs. Definitely the fastest downhill speeds I've hit on a bicycle!

We finished the 36 mile route today... that's all that matters! Thanks for a great event
