When your team finishes at Top 100 this weekend, come as you are to the Marlins High School Softball callout. Bring your gear & get some reps in with our team. This is not a tryout-- just a chance for you to meet the players, coaches, and families and enjoy the sport that you frequently wake up at 6am to play. This is open to anyone who is homeschooled or whose school has no softball team.

The Marlins do NOT interfere with travel ball. We play a high school schedule against high school teams in Indiana. We practice once a week January - early March at an indoor facility on the south side of Indy. Then we move outdoors to our home field on the west side of Indy.

If you are wanting to play in college, take advantage of this opportunity to play under a head coach who has not only played college ball but was inducted into her schools Hall of Honor. This a team built on positivity, encouragement, and solid instruction. Check out this team that is consistently ranked higher than over 75% of the high schools in Indiana on MaxPreps.

HOMESCHOOL SOFTBALL PLAYERS:
What if there were a high school team for homeschool players? Just imagine that team going eight seasons without a losing record, despite playing some of the best high schools in the state. Well, this team is for real, and our callout meeting is THIS SUNDAY, 4:30pm at Shambaugh Park, near Speedway.

***This is NOT a travel team. It is a high school team. It does not interfere with travel. It DOES look good to college coaches when they see you on a team that is beating some of the biggest schools in the state. If you are interested in playing college ball, we definitely have some people who can help you achieve your goals. Head Coach Britney Carpenter is in the Hall of Honor at Indiana Wesleyan & still holds records at her high school. Her father, John Froedge, has been a high school coach since the early 80's and is a pro at strategy and mechanics; he is an assistant coach. Our other assistant coach, Greg Foy, has been with the Marlins since its inception and helped to coach his daughter, who was a starting pitcher as a freshman for Taylor.

The Marlins are based in Indianapolis, but we travel to high schools throughout the state. Check our our FB to see last year's schedule. Our winter workouts are weekly Jan-Feb on the south side of Indy, and our home field is near Speedway, Indiana, just west of Indianapolis.

Do you know a homeschool softball player who wishes they could play high school ball against traditional high school teams? The Marlins formed in 2019 and have never had a losing season. Take a look at our schedule from last year, and you will wonder how a team of homeschool players could have gone 19-6. It's simple. The coaches have created an environment where players want the best for each other and for the team. Each year, seniors graduate, and young players step in to new roles to make the team even better. We had two seniors last year, but there is plenty of room for new players with both varsity & JV teams.
